As this year winds down, I wanted to reach out and thank each and every person reading this, from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU.
Whether you are a beloved client, a member of the Mentorship, part of #FastFitMoms, or someone who’s just consuming my free content, I don’t take your presence here lightly. I know there is a lot of noise out there, and I’m so honored you’ve shared your time with me.
This year has been one of the best of my life as I’ve watched my vision of moms coming together and improving their quality of lives manifest before my eyes with the Strength in Mothers Mentorship and the Strength In Mothers Retreat. Real connection is exactly what has been missing in this journey, and every mom who was brave enough to participate has reaped SO many rewards, just like I have.
I wanted to do a little round-up of highlights from this past year, from the things that had the biggest impact on the moms in my community to my most popular content. “How to Use Intentional Eating to Improve Consistency and Freedom with Food” (also available on Spotify and Google Play) This year my husband Tony and I started a podcast called Fitness & Sushi, all about the mindset of food and exercise and how that makes or breaks our habits. In this episode I break down my exact system of eating that I use myself and with my clients. We are so thrilled with the success of this podcast and how much it’s helping people change their lives!
PERSONAL FAVORITE MOMENT:
The Strength in Mothers Retreat in Austin, TX – Last year I had the crazy idea to bring moms together to let them connect with each other over food struggles, body image, self-care, and the pressures of motherhood. I had never thrown an event and had no idea what to expect. But in the most surreal and emotional moment of the year for me, I found myself standing in the kitchen of a beautiful Airbnb watching a group of women who had flown from all over the country to be there. My good friend and cooking expert Ashley Pardo was nailing her cooking and intuitive eating workshop with the ladies just as I had dreamt, and I had to leave the room and sob. It was perfection, and I can’t wait to do it again in 2020 (Save the date for September 25-27th!).
FAVORITE CLIENT SUCCESS STORY
Joy has been following me for years, and knew she wanted to work with me after having her third baby. She was skeptical about my non-dieting methods at first and didn’t know how they would work, but was thrilled with both her physical AND mental results. #FastFitMoms “Dance Party” (attached) – I created #FastFitMoms club to help busy moms have a healthy lifestyle and mindset in a supportive community. One aspect to this lifestyle is fun, quick (less than 30 mins), effective workouts – and this one was everyone’s favorite. Dance like no one is watching and get an incredible workout in! (We’re adding an app and meal plan to the program in January so stay tuned!)
